Dell UP3216Q DisplayPort hangs Windows 11 on boot with Nvidia driver v555+

I've confirmed a very specific bug with Dell UP3216Q displays + GeForce RTX 4090 (in our case, Zotac Trinity OC) and 3090 (in our case, Dell Alienware OEM) cards in multiple workstations (I'm not sure if other models are affected). Our UP3216Q displays are connected via DisplayPort. We were running Nvidia Studio driver 531.41. After we updated the driver (we tried v555.99 as well as multiple v560 drivers) the workstation would never finish booting. We'd see the bios but it would eventually go black while loading Windows 11, and never get to the login screen. The machine would not respond to pings either, no caps lock; it was totally unresponsive. I was able to boot into Safe Mode successfully (which allows you to uninstall the new driver and roll back). We found that attaching the display with HDMI worked. We also found that using a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter worked. Additionally, a BenQ PD3200U display worked fine over DisplayPort as well. So the issue seems to be very specific- Dell UP3216Q, attached via DisplayPort, running Nvidia driver v555+ will hang Windows 11 during boot. I have the latest BIOS updates for my motherboards and the graphics cards installed, including the DisplayID firmware updates Nvidia provides. Has anyone else experienced this?
