Daisy chain via DELL 470-ACFC USB-C to DP adapter?
i have an HP 430 G7 laptop with Intel UHD Graphics 620. The latop has 1xUSB-C, 1xHDMI, no DP port. I also have two Dell U2415b monitors and would like to daisy chain them as follows: HP430G7 | USB-C out <--470-ACFC adapter + DP cable--> DP in | 1. U2415b | DP out <--DP cable--> DP in | 2. U2415b |
According to the HP430G7 specsheet it is support DP 1.2. Dell U2415 monitors support daisy chain as well.
So the question is if I could stack my devices in the configuration described above and if his could be done via USB-C to DP adapter (ex. "Dell 470-ACFC" adapter) or any other USB-C to DP cable?
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find clearly stated information if it is supported or not, different resources gives conflicting information.
I'll appreciate if someone has already faced a similar issue and share his experience.

@coolon Some multi-purpose USB-C adapters that offer a DP output and other functions don’t always support DisplayPort MST and therefore can’t start a daisy chain, but basic USB-C to DP cables and dongles do that just fine. I use a Cable Matters USB-C to DP cable to run separate daisy chains of dual U2415s and dual U2717Ds and it works fine with multiple systems.

As always, good data from jphughan! Our sales site does not state DP MST, but they tested it in the Parmer Displays lab and it worked.
