USB keyboard driver

I have an Inspiron 8600 docked in a port replicator.  My port replicator came as a package with a Dell USB keyboard.  The keyboard has several extra function keys for the web but they are not currently functional because the keyboard is not installed with the correct driver. I can't seem to locate the driver for this keyboard as the Dell site won't let me choose it since it isn't associated with the Inspiron.

How the heck do I get the proper driver for this device?

Have you tried the keyboards manufacturers website for available drivers? Or is that Dell? You might Google the name of the keyboard and find drivers.

Good luck.

Hi

Drivers and Utlitys CDs have the USB keyboard drivers.

Thanks all.  I must have been having a stupid spell.  It turns out the keyboard buttons are working just fine but for example, when I use the volume control it does not show the volume control display on screen so I was thinking it was not functional.  duhhhhhh

Hopefully, these are the biggest problems I'll have all year.   :smileywink:
