upgrading my laptop processor ,graphics card and RAM
hello community,
i wanted to upgrade my laptop processor , ram and graphics card. I'm a gamer and i thus i wanted a fast laptop. can i upgrade my existing laptop. if yes , then how and from where , will it be useful and what about sideeffects?
its details are:

Hi AayushKumarHbk,
Vostro 1540 is shipped with Intel Integrated graphics and there is no option of upgrading it to a discrete video card.
The processors tested by Dell for the system are:
*Note: Dell does not recommend or offer processor upgrade but it is as your discretion in case you really wish to go ahead with it. Warranty per say, issues arising due to the upgrade will not be covered under warranty; however we will continue providing support for other issues and parts.
There are two memory slots in the system and single slot is tested by Dell to support a maximum memory module up to 4 GB. The maximum memory supported by the system is 8 GB.
You may upgrade the RAM and the processor as mentioned above.
However, you may not get the desired results as Vostro systems are designed for business use and are not meant for gaming purposes.

No, you cannot. There is no way to upgrade the video chip.

now what shall i do other than buying a new laptop and more over my warranty has expired and my friend has a laptop which has characteristics half of my laptop's but still he can play hd games. plz suggest me something

You have a very low-end budget model - you can upgrade the CPU and RAM if you wish, which may help somewhat -- but the Intel integrated video in the system is just not gaming-capable. Even much older AMD/ATI or nVidia chips are far more capable gaming-wise -- and the only solution for the weak video is a new system.
