SD Memory CARD/USB plug-n-play device drivers

Hello frnds i have recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 1525 series laptop, working on Windows Vista 32 bit platform, home premium. The problem with it is that whenevr i insert a SD Memory card or my MP3 pendrive( wch is plug n play USB 2.0 compatible) it doesnt recognize and pops up a window asking me to choose one out of 3 options

1) Locate the driver

2) Ask me agn later

3) Dont show this msg agn

If i choose option no1, it cant locate the drivers from the hard disk, neither if i insert the DELL drivers n utilities cd too....it cant detect them......nor if i allow it to access net....then too its simply not been able to search the dirvers for insatlling my SD card.

I m new to this forum, so i apologize if i hav askd this query at n unappropriate place bt plzz kindly try providing me a solution, i m in urgent need of it.
