It's typically a few months after the release of the consumer (XPS) version of a similar system.  The XPS 9560 (on which the Precision x520 is based was released in early 2017 - the Precision followed later.  If history holds, it'll be a while before the Coffee Lake Precisions arrive -- the corresponding XPS 9570 (or whatever it's designated) hasn't been announced yet.

Whenever Intel releases the H Series models of the 8th generation Core CPUs, which is estimated to be Q1-2 of next year.
