PowerEdge R7525 - iSM Update from 5.3.0.0 to 5.3.1.0

hi there,

i want to update my PowerEdge R7525. so i used the DSU utility. the installation for "DELL iDRAC Service Module Embedded Package" (Systems-Management_Application_7Y30Y_WN64_5.3.1.0_A00.EXE) fails with this error in the log file:

Inventory Failure: Parition Failure - Could not find where the dynamic partition was mounted; possible cause: USB support is disabled

if i launch the installation manually the same error occours.

i checked the iDRAC service module setup (idrac settings - settings - idrac services module setup).

service module installation - available installer version = 5.3.0.0

version  - installed version on host OS = 5.3.1.0  - the installation for "OpenManage | iDRAC Service Module (Systems-Management_Application_7152M_WN64_5.3.1.0_A00.EXE worked)

now i have the issue that DSU shows the update for "DELL iDRAC Service Module Embedded Package" but the installation fails.

i tried to downgrade the "OpenManage | iDRAC Service Module" back to version 5.3.0.0 an then reinstall both files manually but the same issue remains. the "OpenManage | iDRAC Service Module" installation succeded and the "DELL iDRAC Service Module Embedded Package" fails with the error indicated.

what can i do?
