DellXPS 9360 Screen Issue

Hi all

The bottom of my screen is no longer visually functioning. A horizontal band occupies the lower inch of the screen. All updates have been loaded.

- When screen is mirrored, the mirrored screen works normally and does not display the error

- Screen shots of the issue do not display the issue in the screenshot

- Diagnostics for the screen seem to fail with regards to colours,

-the touchscreen function still works but it's a guess what icon im touching

-Diagnostics, F12 and D on start up dont seem to resolve the problem

Below is a picture of the issue. Any advice, feedback would be appreicated

Whatever caused it, the display needs to be replaced.  If the system is under warranty, call Dell to have that done.

If the system is out of warranty, note that the entire upper assembly - screen, touch panel, back cover, hinges, cables, etc. needs to be replaced -- the screen is not a separately replaceable component.

No trigger. Just appeared whilst using yesterday.

Remains under warranty.

Wondering if it might be a software issue or common problem?
