DELL XPS 9650 Intel HD Graphics Driver not up to date

Hi,

For using the Cura software I need a more recent Intel HD Graphics Driver:

Cura Forum Link

I have 21.20.16.4664 ,A04 but need 22.20.16.4729.

The dell update application tells me my drivers are uptodate (21.20.16.4664) and the driver on the dell website is also outdated (21.20.16.4664):

But I also can't install the uptodate driver from the Intel webside....

Best regards,

Michel

There is an article from the steam community that might work for you.  http://dell.to/2zGUQTV

Hi Michel,

Thanks for posting.

Apologies that your program is not working properly.  Since Dell has not tested the Cura software on our products, this would not be supported.  Perhaps another user may have had a similar experience and might be able to respond.

What problems are you having installing the Intel driver?  Here's a link to an article on Intel's website that you may be experiencing:  communities.intel.com/.../117439

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your answer.

"Apologies that your program is not working properly.  Since Dell has not tested the Cura software on our products, this would not be supported.  Perhaps another user may have had a similar experience and might be able to respond."

I know that Cura is not tested by Dell and it is not what I asked. I need the latest intel driver to use the software properly and other users have the same problem (with the outdated driver) and solved it by installing the latest driver.

Trying to install the latest intel driver I get this message:

"The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer"

It is nice that Dell wants to test the new drivers before the users can install it, but the user should always have the possibility to use the drivers of their choice (on their own responsibility).

How can I install it anyways?
