Dell Laptop plugged in but Not Charging? Why?
My Dell Inspiron Laptop is not charging from yest onwards but when the laptop is plugged in the laptop is working fine. What could be the issue. Please let me know what needs to be done.

Thanks for writing to us.
Do you mean the system doesnt power up with the battery alone?
Please check the status of the battery and ac adapter in windows and BIOS and let us know.
Do you have any charger or battery to try?
Do provide us your system tag#, email address and name via private message,by clicking on my name in blue and then select send a private message

Check the system setup (F2 at powerup). Is the AC adapter recognized or showing "unknown"?
