Eight beeps means the system doesn't sense the display panel - hold the D key through powerup to see if the display runs its built in self test (you should see a series of alternating color screens).  If you do, check and or replace the ribbon cable that runs between the back of the display and the mainboard.

If there's no display at all, replace the display panel.

If neither of the above shows anything, replace the mainboard.

Hi, 8 beep sound indicates a failure on the display panel.

However to check if the display panel is working properly or not,

you may need to do the LCD built in self test. By using D+Power Up button.

If it shows you different colours during the test, the LCD has no problem.

Therefore the problems most probably lies on EDP or LVDS cables.

Worst case scenario, the systemboard.

Thanks alot for your reply, well i tried a few times, D + power button and finally it shows multiple color and switched on. I was not able to run in normal mode, so i was running in safe mode and finally i formatted thinking that it will solve the issue.

but every time i shutdown or even lid down, i need to re-do the whole process of D+ power button for few times.

What can be the possible issue with this ?

Thanks
