turning off RST on my inspirion 7490
i need to install ubuntu on my laptop. while installing linux i have to turn off RST but in my bios i cant find any option to turn it off. any help?

It cannot be disabled on this model -- there is no AHCI option.
There is a workaround for installing Ubuntu, but it requires installing a specific distribution image.
