Ac power adapter warning, low performance. Possible problem with the id pin

I believe that the charger identification pin is in bad connection.
I am having frequent warnings about the charger cannot be determined.
This causes the laptop to run at low performance and it is necessary to move the cable and restart the computer until the warning goes away.

The charger is original and has the right voltage levels.
Is there a way to prevent this low performance without having to change the cable?
If I disable the warning message, will the computer continue running at low performance?

Thanks

It's likely either the plug (meaning try another Dell adapter) or the jack (inside the system), but one way or another, no  the system won't run at full speed without a recognized adapter, so you will need to replace hardware to solve the problem.
