XPS 8900, no PCI slots, only PCIe
Hi, what FireWire PCI card does the XPS 8900 use? I have orderd 2 directly from Dell's compatible list and neither one fits. The card is too big... I have been on the phone with customer service being bounced around for hours. No one there seems to know what to do. It's beyond frustrating. Any help would be great.

The XPS 8900 does not have a PCI slot. It has PCIe slots.
Blue PCIe x16 card slot (Video Card)
Black PCIe x4 card slot (Sound card)
Black PCIe x16 card slot (Not for a video card. A video card would cover the three sata connectors)
If you bought this, it will not work. That is PCI, not PCIe.
You need something like this that will fit into the middle Black PCIe x4 card slot.
