In general, you can't renew an expired warranty.  You'd need to call to ask if it's possible. If it is, you'll have to transfer ownership before you can instate a US warranty.

Also bear in mind that the only time it makes much economic sense to extend a warranty is at purchase -- post-purchase extensions are essentially pre-payments for possible needed repair.  I wouldn't be surprised to find a $400-500 charge for just one year's extension on a gaming system like this one -- possibly even more.  You may be better off setting aside the funds yourself to cover part of any needed repair.
