Aurora R12 failing to boot

Hello!

I currently own an Aurora R12, and recently it has lost the ability to boot fully. I have ran the PSY BIST and it works fine. The pc stays on, but the monitor remains black, without ever showing an alienware logo. This leads ne to believe that this pc is not able to complete post, but I am unsure at the moment. It is not an issue with the monitor as I am able to view the esc+ctrl bios menu just fine. Unsure the final issue as of now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try changing the coin cell battery, as often that fixes a lot of oddball issues and would only cost $5 for a new coin cell battery.

Forgot to add, the pc has been working fine up to now, and the issues only arose this morning after shutting it down the night before.

@buskerskutler Press F12 during post, and perform a full system diagnostics.

See if anything comes up as not passing.

If you are able to see the BIOS menu then the video card and monitor are working.

@Vanadiel I am unsure if my system even makes it to post, as I have not been able to access any other diagnostic menus besides the ctrl esc one, the F12 menu as well as others do not seem to appear. As well, the alienware logo and loading symbol never appear.

Took out the coin cell battery, tested the voltage and it came up at the correct amount. After re inserting the battery, a bios reset was prompted, and that seemed to solve the issue, Thanks!
