Why am I being charged $48 for free shipping? #2

This is totally unethical! They figure no one will call them on it. I called earlier and the representative said she will credit me for the shipping charge. I just got confirmation of the credit, but my delivery date has now changed to three days later than anticipated. I will not be home to get the delivery and it will be stolen if it sits on my step. I am currently on hold waiting for them to have the carrier return it to them and to cancel the order. I DO NOT want the laptop now! I am done with Dell and their unethical practices. I would have been fine with paying for delivery, but I am not okay with a company trying to make a fool out of me.
