My laptop was not delivered

I ordered my Dell G3 15 3500 Gaming laptop on the 16th of November, and it was expected that the package would reach the address of my cargo company on 24th of November.  I rechecked the status of my order on the 24th of November, but when I checked it, I saw that the package was actually delivered on the 20th of November. Thus, I went to the website of my cargo company to check the status of my order (if the package was in their storage or not). But, when I checked the website, apparently, my order was not even there. After that, I talked to my cargo company about the issue, but they told me that the package never reached the address. But they also asked us to check the FedEx delivery details and to find who actually signed that the order was delivered. Apparently, it was signed by some guy called O.Opha, who is not even an EMPLOYEE IN THAT COMPANY!!. Moreover, my cargo company also asked for the document that was signed by this guy called O.Opha. So I contacted the Dell Customer Care about the issue, but they asked me to file a police complaint about the issue. Why am I supposed to file a police complaint, when Dell didn't even send the package correctly? This computer was also important for my college studies since my old laptop was basically broken. So it was important for me to get this computer asap and I actually saved money for months for this.

 

How can I fix this? Please help.

Just contact dell for a full refund so it can be redelivered. a police report would be necessary so the thief can be caught.

The laptop was not stolen, it was just given to the wrong person (who is not even  the employee of the cargo company) due to the incompetence of Dell delivery

A police report becomes necessary to get logistical investigation and then proceed to replace or refund the product while the investigation is on.

I don't think you understood me. The laptop was not even delivered to my cargo company, and there isn't an employee called O.Opha in the company(which means that the delivery was not completed and the "delivered" status is false, which also means that the status should be cancelled). I am your customer, and I bought this product from YOU. It is your duty to search for why the product was not delivered. Moreover, I don't live in the USA. How can you be so incompetent and deliver almost a 1000$ product to an unknown person? Please contact FedEx and actually finish the delivery by taking the product from this O.Opha guy and delivering the product to the cargo company(Colibri Express).

P.S: All of this is a violation of my Consumer rights
