PSU 500w on 390 DT?

Hi guys, well my 390 DT the PSU just died two days ago

And a coworker is selling me this PSU

The question is, can it work well on my PC without affecting it since it is 500w? It doesn't matter that the PC no longer closes with the lid... in fact it is completely modified.

if it is a 24/4 pin psu it would work well in 390.   the extra power is designed for video card but since you do not have one in 390, it would not be used.

meanwhile replace cmos battery w a new one in 390.

if the 390 is important to you, try use a reputable name brand psu or get a Dell oem replacement than a random no name psu.

if your coworker is giving you the 500w psu for free or dirt cheap, maybe.

Dell oem psu is only 16-20 USD

@redxps630 In fact, He gives it to me for the price of 11 USD.

And well... it is important but since I already modified it, I broke the back part for an RX 550 graphics card that uses two rear ports...

@redxps630 Well, I already bought it and it's already working fine.
