17 R5, horrible Customer Service experience

Alienware 17 R5

Alienware 17 R5

These individuals conducted themselves in an unprogressive, unproductive, circular manner that left me frustrated, feeling abandoned, and, most importantly, did not resolve my issue. After they kindly asked me to wait for them to discuss the next steps but then closed the ticket without my consent. All involved failed to grasp the complete picture of the incident. This non-U.S. based global help desk experience has brought me to the breaking point. As such, I am led to conclude that it is time to withdraw my Dell business
relationship and give it to other U.S. based competitor vendor.

Their responses were in line with Dell policy. The 2018 released 17 R5 will not be given support for Windows 11.

The Microsoft PC Healthcheck Tool disagrees.

Dell management's tunnel vison approach to this matter implies that because Dell hasn't tested the Alienware 17 R5 for Windows 11, Dell can (and will) refuse to consider engaging in testing (if not replacing) the device. I am very disappointed that Dell continues to underestimate, undervalue, and marginalize the intelligence of the buying public.
