Extracting HBA Firmware and Drivers from MDS

I'm working on auditing our HBA firmware and have been successful in pulling FDMI data out of our Brocade switches, I'd like to use this same process on the Cisco side, as I know that this data is available in Fabric Manager.

Something seems up however as a 'show fdmi database' gives me no data, and the data in Fab Man is obviously out of date.

I noticed this line in the documentation:

All FDMI entries are stored in persistent storage and are retrieved when the FDMI process is started.

So I was wondering if I need to manually start (or restart) the FDMI process to get this data, or am I just looking for it in the wrong location?

NX-OS 5.0(1a) on the switch

annsancore01# show fdmi database

annsancore01# show process | grep fdmi

3232      S   fc61f04            1     -  fdmi
