Access to Online Centeras using username/password
Hello,
is there a Online Centera Cluster I can access by
username/password instead of PEA file? I need
to implement this authentication for a client and
therefor any help for testing this is greately
appreciated.

As an example try......
128.221.200.64?name=us3profile1,secret=us3profile1
128.221.200.120?name=us5profile1,secret=us5profile1
It appears that not all profiles are enabled.

I don't think there are any that have been set up to allow access that way (at least there were none when I worked for EMC). Paul McKeown may be able to confirm that or help you out.

From the connectivity information for the Centera online clusters (https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-1038):
'Each profile also comes enabled with name/secret combination that corresponds to the profile name. Thus to access a profile defined by us2_armTest2_rdqeDcwh.pea file, the application could alternatively use "name=armTest2,secret=armTest2" in the connect string.'
I didn't try that recently, but it should work.

I tried the following three ones without any success:
128.221.200.180?name=armtesting,secret=armtesting
128.221.200.64?name=armtest1,secret=armtest1
128.221.200.120?name=profile1,secret=profile1
Is there any chance to address this on EMC side???
