m18 R2, new, no Alien Command Center
Those links DONT exist anymore. <Because that thread is two years old. Also for a different model. DELL-Admin>
I have the EXACT same problem with a NEW m18 R2 LAPTOP ! Out of the box NO COMMAND CENTER! OUT OF THE BOX,1st thing, NO ALIEN COMMAND CENTER. I SPENT 2 HOURS WITH "REMOTE" TECH SUPPORT ON MY M8 AND THEY COULDNT FIX IT. They are supposed to call me this morning to fix it. <Profanity is never needed nor allowed on our Forum. DELL-Admin>. Last night they wanted me to do all the componant/firmware updates, and I did and it still doesn't open so they are calling me back this morning (supposedly). I uninstalled and reinstalled the Alien command center that the Tech downloaded onto my m18 R2 and it still wont work. The Tech better fix it quickly, If not ITS GOING BACK ! OVER $4,000 and it wont work and its "just out of the box". What happened to DELLS quality!???

just bought a $4000 m18 r2 and out of the box the command center would not open. Tech support tried for 2 sessions now and still can't open the command center. This is crazy. They sell a $4000 pc knowing it has a high probability that the command center won't open. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. THIS IS JUST PLAIN STUPID. I'M SENDING THE THING BACK and continue using my M17 R2. I'll just have to put up with the slowness and the finicky command center, but at east it works after reboot after reboot.
