m17 R5, AWCC failure to install

AWCC had been crashing and I attempted to uninstall and reinstall but have been unable to reinstall. error is that there was an interruption during install and never finishes. I cannot uninstall or reinstall...I'm locked, I have tried the support answer and nothing works. I installed github /T-Troll/alienfx-tools which worked with some success but have started having some issues again. Any help is appreciated.
