Alienware Area-51m R2

Alienware Area-51m R2

Hi,

My area 51m R2 went into a video BSOD. I had RDR2 running and i switched to another desktop to watch some YouTube thats when the computer froze after like an hour of watching YouTube and went into the BSOD error i didn’t really catch the error code, After that it didn't boot. Turn it off and when turned back on I got 3 red 1 blue flash on power button. Any help?

That error refers to a weak or dead CMOS/reserve battery.  By itself, that should not prevent bootup.

Unplug the system, remove the base cover and disconnect the main battery from the system board.  Hold the power button for 30 sec.

Reassemble the system and see if it will boot.  If it does, but continues that error, replace the reserve (coin cell) battery as detailed in the service manual.
