ALIENWARE M17 R4 FREEZING HEEEELP
Alienware m17 R4
Good day, beautiful and wonderful people,
I hope you are all doing well.
On July 19, I performed a Windows update and shut down the computer. The next day, while playing as I usually do, the computer suddenly started freezing completely with an extremely loud noise. It wouldn’t allow anything to be done except forcing a restart with the power button. Since then, I’ve been trying to fix it, but I haven't been able to. I even took it to a nearby certified Dell workshop, and they said, "It's ready," but it’s really not—it’s still failing. Windows was reinstalled, drivers were updated, and hardware tests were all successful. However, something that happens after a restart is that when I use the sfc /scannow command, it mentions that there are corrupt files. It repairs them, and then I restart, and the warning disappears.
PC specs:
Alienware m17 R4
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10870H CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2208 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date Alienware 1.23.0, 9/07/2024
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 32,0 GB
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 16GB
In device manager in display adapter, only shows the RTX 3080, is normal not to show the Intel(R) UHD graphics?
