Aurora R9/R10, my upgrades to fix GPU and CPU temperatures
Hello everyone!
Glad to be part of the community and share my experience with everyone regarding GPU and CPU temperatures.
I bought the Alienware Aurora R9 and R10 Ryzen Edition.
I have done a lot of research and tests changed fans to Corsair and Noctua, but I haven't noticed any changes related to temperatures. Just reducing the noise. So after reading forums, YouTube upgrade, I ended up searching for the perfect fan with low db and higher cfm
I also added some little extra stuff. I'm going to share photos with you all. Prior to making the hardware changes, my GPU highest temperature was 80-84°C. Now, my GPU highest temperatures are 70-75°C. The CPU temperatires are perfect now.
1- x3 120mm Cougar fans
2- x1 90mm be quiet pure wings 2 (exhaust fan)
3- grizzley thermal paste
4- wifi killer
5. m2.heat sink
Cougar TOP FAN
x3 cougar fans, grizzly thermal..m2 heatsink and wifi killer
x2 front cougar fans
replaced wifi to wifi killer
cougar high CFM and low db
Now I can say that my Alienware Aurora is beast Gaming PC. Feel free to ask any question.

Thats nice. What’s funny is that people complain about noise but than they have their pc right in front of their face LOL ! Nice set up. I’m still with stock fans in my R9 and R11 and have no thermal issues what so ever. The fan noise in performance mode doesn’t bother me at all because I either have headphones or my HP G2 headset on. I’m still not convinced in changing my fans out yet, the stock fans move more air from what I have read. I like your idea with the heat sink on the M.2 NVMe that’s brilliant.

its true but since im daily gamer.. and sometimes when i speak in discord during game my friends keep saying dude are you in a chopper your fans are so loud... so yea decided to upgrade fans but still with decent high air flow not just reducing noise .. and yes the m.2 heat sink is helpful and increasing my m.2 life span
