Aurora R8, can I install an RTX 4060ti 16GB graphics card?

Alienware Aurora R8

Alienware Aurora R8

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and want to know if I can use an RTX 4060ti 16Gb in my Aurora R8 system.  Currently my system is configured like this:

Intel Core i9 9900

RTX 2070 Super R8 GDDR6

32Gb Dual Channel RAM

2TB SSD HDD

2TB SATA HDD

850 watt power supply (liquid cooled, of course)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  And I am in possession of the RTX 4060ti card.

The RTX 4060 ti is double slot, full height, full length, and using less power than your previous 2070 super.  Therefore, it should  fit and works with your Aurora R8.

Thank you for your quick response, it was very much appreciated.  However, I installed the 4060TI without any physical issues, but it will not display anything.  I can see the unit is getting power because the side of the 4060TI lights up.  I have my system connected via HDMI to a 4K Samsung television.  And I downloaded the drivers to the 4060TI card prior to installing it.  Any ideas or suggestions???  Thanks again for the help.

Verify that you have properly fully inserted and connected the 16-pin 12vhpwr adapter from the RTX card to an 8-pin graphics power cable from PC power supply.

On some systems, it will also require to disable Secure Boot when installing retailed graphics card.

Connect your monitor to onboard integrated video port (DP) and boot into Windows if you can still get video from igpu.  Go inside dev mgr > display adapter to see if an rtx is detected
