Aurora R12, OEM liquid cooler MH0HN?

I want to buy an OEM Dell liquid cooler for my new Alienware Aurora R12.  How long has Dell been back ordered? I know about the other options such as a Corsair h60. But since my system is new (Black Friday deal so couldn't add the liquid cooling when ordered) I want the Dell Alienware MH0HN so it doesn't mess up my warranty. (I hope). From what I researched they are all the same between r7, r8, r9, r10, r11, r12.  Any info/leads is appreciated.

I purchased this today from Dell parts: MH0HN Assembly, Heatsink, Central Processor Unit,95W,L-COOLER,R6.  I believe this is the liquid cooler for the Aurora r12; price $109.00 plus tax.  It will ship Dec. 20th.

open box DP/N 050NP 0PP749

All R5/6/7/8/9 Intel based Aurora have LGA1151 socket and Dell oem liquid coolers are interchangeable.  same for LGA 1200 socket in R11/12.

The 4 holes for fastening the heatsink to the motherboard are placed in a square with a lateral length of 75 mm for Intel's sockets LGA 1156LGA 1155LGA 1150, LGA 1151 and LGA 1200. Cooling solutions should therefore be interchangeable.

I'm looking for one as well, I ordered the 12 on a special in October and it really bad that they wouldn't let me add liquid cooling. I also contacted Dell customer support and they said they will not sell the liquid cooling OEM separate.  So im debating on ebay . There are a few on there but it seems sketchy. Also if your interested you can upgrade your power supply . They said they would sell that separate.

MH0HN = 95W CPU liquid cooler (Aurora R6/R7/R8/R9/R10/R11/R12)

Note, any added Dell part would NOT be added to the original warranty. The original warranty ONLY covers what we shipped from the factory.

I understand the cooler won't be covered by warranty.  I read that using a non-dell component would void the associated system's warranty.  Thus I am looking for a Dell branded cooler.

N1C1D VRM Heatsinks are NOT all the same between r7, r8, r9, r10, r11, r12

VRM HEATSINKS are also not optional.

It is confirmed that R11 uses MH0HN liquid cooler (same as R6) based on system spec using genuine R11 service tag.

this seller in uk shows a pic that has both MH0HN and PP749.  PP749 may be the DP/N for the cooling fan.  MH0HN for the radiator/pump assembly.

the liquid pump for R5 (050NP) indeed looks different:

Adding Non Dell parts does not void the Original Warranty.

However only the original configuration is covered under warranty and they may require you to put it back to the original configuration before they will fix it should the need arise.

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is the federal law that governs consumer product warranties. Passed  in 1975, the Act requires manufacturers and sellers of consumer products to provide consumers with  warranty coverage.  It does not require them to cover user added 3rd party parts.

this one (open box) ships to US if OP is located there.  it is a bit expensive with shipping (it also includes genuine Dell VRM heatsinks).  cheaper ones available but in used condition (sometimes grade A).

@redxps630

J46J2 = Heatsink, Aurora-R7/R6/R5 does NOT WORK on an R12.

N1C1D VRM Heatsink is for the R12.

I'm in the same boat as you @mstroz.  Ordered a Aurora r12 from early Black Friday with few options.  But, it's going to be a Merry Christmas!

I have a new R12 that came with the standard thermal and it runs HOT. I just purchased the liquid cooled assembly, will it still work even though your saying the heat sink is different?
