C3422WE, resolution capped 2048x1152
The monitor resolution only 2048x1152 which should be 3440x1440. Active signal resolution only 1920x1080. Please help to advise what need to do to fix it?

To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get help now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. Provide to them the private C3422WE Service Tag and all of your troubleshooting.
The C3422WE can only provide the resolutions sent to it from the PC.
* What PC model?
* What GPU video card out ports are on the PC?
* How is the C3422WE currently connecting to the PC using which cable and ports?
* You notate the C3422WE is Display 2. What is Display 1?

OK, I checked other answers here and tried one, found out if I only using one HDMI (I connect 2 monitors), it can display as 3440x1440. Sadly my laptop not support it while using 2 monitors.

I'm using Microsoft Surface Laptop 3.
GPU might be Intel AVStream Camera 128mb
connecting by high speed HDMI cable
Display 1 is my laptop.
