iexplore.exe run when Startup.

Hello,

I have a problem, can someone help please?

I run Accessories > System Tools > System Information
under System Summary - Software Environment - Running Tasks
i got this
Name: iexplore.exe
Path: c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe

But in Windows Task Manager under Processes Image Name don't have iexplore.exe
And no Internet Explorer running.

Restart computer also get the same thing.
Automatic System standby and hibernates stop working anymore.

If you need more information please let me know.
Thank you very much. Bye.

clear the startup and see if it still comes up. to do so
click on start - run and type msconfig
click on the startup tab - and uncheck iexplore if listed. if not, the uncheck all.
click on apply and close. it will ask for a restart.
This would remove iexplorer from starting up and make your system faster.

Also scan and download this free software antispyware and adware remover. let me know if it makes a difference

download it here

Before downloading Noadware, which appears to itself be spyware, I'd recommend you download the latest Windows Defender beta from Microsoft.

There is nothing wrong with that entry iexplorer.exe

That is your Internet Explorer browser...

Why rocky184 pumped that useless adware remover, ha ha... is beyond me?

Sometimes if you look in your tadk manager, you will see several of those entries if you have several browsers open.

Before hocking some junk software let's just look at the obvious...I think that keeps it simple...
