Is Seagate Momentus XT 750GB/7200RPM/32MB6GBPS COMPATIBLE WITH XPS M1530?

Hello All,

I'd like to know if the Seagate Momentus XT 750GB Internal Serial ATA Solid State Hybrid Drive for Laptops (Model# STBD750100) is compatible with the XPS M1530?  I purchased the M1530 in March 2008, but my drive crashed, so I need a new one.

Here are the specs for the Momentus XT:

2.5"/9.5mm

750GB

7200RPM

SATA

6GBPS data transfer

32MB Cache Buffer

8GB Solid State SLC NAND flash memory

I really wanted a 1TB 7200RPM SATA drive with 32MB cache (but I'd settle for 16), but so far, I haven't had much luck finding one in my price range that would work.  Dell's parts/upgrades site only recommended 500GB/5400RPM drives.  A dell agent told me via chat that the Dell 1TB 7200RPM Nearline SATA would work, but at $470, it's way out of my price range.

If the Momentus XT won't work, does anyone know of any drive that would get me close to everything on my wishlist?
