U2719DC, U3821DW, daisy chain

Let's backup. The picture shows U3821DW. Yet your description mentions U3221DW and U3281DW?

* What specific Laptop model?
* What operating system?
* What is the 1st monitor connected directly to the PC?
* What is the 2nd monitor connected to the 1st monitor?

The U3821DW does not have the required DP out port. This means it cannot be the 1st monitor in a daisy chain.

PC USB-C --> U2719DC USB-C to C cable --> U2719DC #4 USB-C/DP in port (Menu- Display- MST On)
U2719DC #5 DP out port --> U2719DC DP to DP cable --> U3821DW #5 DP in port

You are right it is the U3821DW, and it does only have one DP port. I set it up as you suggested, with the USB-C to the U2719DC, however, it says no USB-C signal. When I click on the monitor button, it only has the input source as options, and not the other options showing MST. 

Any further advice on getting this working would be appreciated.

I used a longer USB-C cable than the one provided, and could it be that it is not the same quality as the one that was provided? 

Dell only tested/validated the shorter 3.2ft/1m USB-C to C Gen 2 cable. Test ours and reply with the result.

No. The U2719DC worked, but the U3821DW was not finding a signal.

No, I am not getting a signal pushed through to the U3821DW. 

I purchased a new longer and must be better cable. The issue with going through the U2719DC first is that is the maximum resolution that is then pushed to the U3821DW is what the U2719DC can handle, which is less.
