S2721D, daisy chain via HDMI?
Hi,
I just purchased two S2721D monitors and looking to connect to my laptop. These S2721D have two HDMI in ports and came with HDMI cables. Is there any way for me to daisy chain/connect both S2721D to my laptop without having to purchase any additional cables/ports/adaptors?
I am wondering if I can use one HDMI cable to connect laptop to #1 S2721D HDMI #1 and the other HDMI cable from #1 S2721D HDMI #2 to #2 S2721D HDMI #1?

@sam.mas Video input ports and video output ports are not interchangeable or configurable, and daisy chaining only works when using DisplayPort signaling since that’s the only protocol that supports it. There is a way to cheat in that the LAST display in the chain can use HDMI if you buy the right kind of adapter, but the source signal needs to be DisplayPort. HDMI has never supported running multiple independent displays from a single output.
