@zhj0735 Normally, no. But there are active converters that can do this. Here is one example if you happen to be in the US. That adapter is explicitly designed to take an HDMI source signal and provide a DisplayPort output, which is the opposite of the typical direction (DisplayPort source to HDMI input). The USB cable there is to provide power to the active converter electronics built into the adapter.
