I have read some forum related to this issue according to them i check drivers which is already updated.

I have also check mouse setting in control panel it looks fine.

Hi Chetan,

You may run the diagnostics by following the steps below.

  • Shut down and restart the computer.
  • Press the F12 key immediately when the Dell logo appears. The Boot Device list appears.
  • Select Diagnostics and press the Enter key.

You may try to check the touchpad functionality in Safe Mode. The steps are given below:

  • Restart or Power on the system.
  • Tap at dell logo until ‘Advanced Boot Options’ appear.
  • Choose ‘Safe Mode’ and hit ‘Enter’

Also, update the driver from the below link. The link is:

Keep me posted with the results. I will be glad to assist you further.

Hi Chetan,

Is there any difference after installing the drivers?

Also, you may try to boot the system in safe mode to see if touchpad works when you are unable to use it within windows.

Update the system BIOS from the below link:

Note: Before updating BIOS please ensure that:
*Battery is 10%> or >10% charged
*Battery charger should be connected
*No external devices (flash drives, printers, external hard drives) should be connected.
*All other programs should be closed and documents saved

Keep me posted with the results. I will be glad to assist you further.
