Battery life Inspiron 14 7000 series

Hi guys,

I have a new Inspiron 14 7000 series and I want to know about battery life. I have the system plugged in to use till about lunch time (or earlier), then I have to go on the road for the afternoon (using it on battery only), then in the late afternoon early evening I have the system plugged in again to use it more and to recharge. To get better battery life from it should I take the battery out when I am using it when plugged in? As in the description for Dell laptops they say "You probably won't take your battery out more than 30 times so we've tested for this). Does this mean just leave it in and let the software do it's thing to extend the battery life?

Kind regards

Hi jkebel,

Dell has its AC adapters specifically designed for Dell systems so there is no chance of overcharging. You can use the system when its plugged in.

You can refer to the tips in the link below to increase the performance of the battery on your system.

Please let me know if this helps.
