Missing TPM - How to add?
I have reviewed multiple listings. I can't upgrade to Windows 11 because of my TPM missing. BIOS Security section does not show anything. I have tried to review any missing drivers from the Dell site. Is it possible that TPM cannot be added? How can I determine if it's even possible to install the TPM? I don't want to waste my time if it cannot be done.

If the system supports Intel PTT, there should be an option to enable it in setup (F2 at powerup). That said, if the reason you're looking for PTT/TPM support is for Windows 11, note that this system uses a 7th gen CPU that does not meet the Microsoft requirements for Windows 11 (and cannot be upgraded). If you're looking for a system that fully supports Windows 11, you need a new system.
You can install Windows 11 but do not have a CPU that meets Microsoft's security requirements for this OS.

Most systems of the last few years in the Inspiron range do not have a separate TPM, but have Intel PTT built into the CPU. This will be the case for any Intel CPU that supports Windows 11 (i.e., 8th generation or newer).
If you need a more definitive answer, post your full system model number (inspiron 3593, 7779, etc.).

@ejn63 my full system identification is Inspiron 15 5578 2-in-1 (from my service tag entry). If there is an Intel add on PTT? What are the steps required to use that? Thanks!
