Symptoms
OpenManage Storage Services (OMSS) may report a warning, "Server Administrator is not compatible with firmware version," displayed under the Information/Configuration tab in OMSS for PERC H965.
This condition is observed on 16G platforms with X24 backplanes (R760).
With X12 backplanes, the warning is present, but the hard drive is still present under the enclosure (R660, R760).
Other platforms may also be impacted.
The condition impacts both OMSA 11.0.0 and updated version 11.0.0.1.

The older OMSA 11 releases do not support PERC firmware version 8.4.0.0.18-27.
Resolution
Resolution:
The issue is addressed in OMSA 11.0.1 release.
Workaround:
Downgrade the PERC firmware to 8.0.0.0.18-86.
