Error code 0x000001B9 during a BIOS update.
No cause information.
When installing a ME firmware upgrade, it will fail with Error 0x000001B9 during a BIOS upgrade if your computer is using the Intel Management Engine driver version 1938.12.0.1317.

Signs of this are that the Windows default language of the Intel Management and Security status application was changed or that the Intel vPro WLAN card was hardware swapped between Intel 9560, 92260, and AX200.

Updating to the latest BIOS version available on the Dell support site for your computer will resolve the issue.
To download and install the latest BIOS:
Browse to the Dell Drivers & Downloads page:
Dell Support Drivers Page
Select the correct computer type.
Select the Operating System.
Under Category, select BIOS.
Locate the latest computer BIOS.
Click Download and save the file to your computer.
Open File Explorer and browse to the location where the downloaded file is saved
Double-click the BIOS setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
You will go through a system restart to finalize your installation.
