WARNING: User: root or password cannot be authenticated with local system
Cause
The wrong root user credentials were entered.
The correct root user for AVI is the Linux operating system root. In the example above, the AVI login interface was populated with the internal Avamar root superuser credentials.
Resolution
Enter the credentials for the Linux operating system root user and try again.
- Do not attempt to log in to AVI with any other user than the Linux operating system root. It is not supported to run workflows with other users.
- If unsure whether you have the correct password for the Linux operating system root, log in to the Avamar Utility Node with the admin user. Switch to the Linux operating system root user. When prompted, enter the password to verify that it is the correct one.
