The following steps take you through fixing the following errors:
Go to the Windows camera privacy and security settings: Press the Windows + X keys simultaneously → open Settings → go to Privacy and Security → select Camera
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and check if any applications are using the webcam.
Temporarily turn off the setting to Let desktop apps access your camera, if it shows that any applications are using the camera
Open the Windows Camera application to confirm that the webcam is now working.
Re-enable the setting to: Let desktop applications access your camera.
If the problem returns, install the latest camera driver from the Dell support site. Follow these instructions for your model of the laptop:
