Symptoms

  • Unisphere GUI toont waarschuwingen voor verschillende DAE-schijven:

  • In dit moment waren er vanwege looped backend-connectiviteit slechts drie uitbreidingsbehuizingen verbonden, maar er werden zes behuizingen weergegeven.
  • Het is niet mogelijk om pools te maken met deze schijven en als de array al operationeel was, zouden de groepen offline zijn.
 

Cause

Onjuiste backend-bekabeling.

Problematische verbinding:
** Zoals hieronder wordt weergegeven, is SAS-poort 1 op de DPE SPA aangesloten op LCC A-poort "B" en niet op poort "A" en DPE SPB SAS-poort 1 is aangesloten op de LCC B-poort van de laatste DAE "B". Hierdoor is de laatste DAE verbonden 1_0 en 0_2 op hetzelfde moment. Wat heeft een lus gemaakt?
Problematische verbinding
 

Resolution

Corrigeer de connectiviteit als volgt:
 
DAE 0_0-connectiviteit met DPE:
DPE SP A SAS-poort 0 DAE 0_0 LCC A-poort A
DPE SP B SAS-poort 0 DAE 0_0 LCC B-poort A
DAE 1_0-connectiviteit met DPE:
DPE SP A SAS-poort 1 DAE 1_0 LCC A-poort A
DPE SP B SAS-poort 1 DAE 1_0 LCC B-poort A
DAE 0_1-connectiviteit:
DAE 0_0 LCC A-poort B DAE 0_1 LCC A-poort A
DAE 0_0 LCC B-poort B DAE 0_1 LCC B-poort A
