Symptoms
Inspiron 27 7710, 24 5400, 24 5410, 24 5411, and 24 5415 All-in-one computers turn when the mouse is moved, or a keyboard key pressed.
Cause
USB Wake Support is enabled by default into the BIOS. USB devices that are connected to USB ports 1 and 7 (Figure 1 [English only]) trigger a wake signal when they are active.

When USB Wake Support is not wanted, either connect the USB device to USB port 6 (Figure 1 [English only]) or disable WAKE on USB in the computer BIOS.
Disable USB Wake Support in the BIOS through these steps:
- Turn on the computer.
- At the Dell logo screen, tap F2 key several times until Entering BIOS or System Setup appears.
- In the BIOS, expand the Power Management option.
- Select USB Wake Support and move the slider to OFF, to Disable USB Wake Support.
- Click Apply Changes at the bottom (Figure 2 [English only]).
