Here's what to do if you lose Wi Fi. After upgrading to Windows 10, you need internet access either through a wired connection or another machine. Go to Dell dot com slash support. Enter your service tag, select drivers and downloads, then find it myself. Choose Windows 10 from the operating system, drop down, then download the latest bios and Wi Fi driver for your system.
If no Windows, 10 driver is available, 8.1 drivers may work but they're untested and unsupported for Windows. 10. Also download the Microsoft troubleshooter from knowledge base article 3084164 on the problem machine. First run the bias update and follow the onscreen instructions, then update the Wi Fi driver and if needed, run the Microsoft troubleshooter. If you're still having problems, search dell dot com slash support for more general troubleshooting help.
Thanks for watching.
