To get started, loosen the two captive screws that secure the side cover to the computer. Using the tab on the right-side of the cover, slide back and lift the side cover away from the chassis We will now proceed with the removal of the WLAN card. Lay the computer on the right side. Remove the single screw that secures the WLAN bracket and WLAN card to the system board. Now lift the WLAN bracket and remove it from the WLAN card.
Then, slide and remove the WLAN card from its slot on the system board Carefully, disconnect the WLAN antenna cables from the WLAN card You have successfully removed the WLAN card Now, let’s see how to install the WLAN card. To begin, connect the WLAN antenna cables to the WLAN card. Align the notch on the WLAN card with the tab on the WLAN-card slot Now insert the card at an angle into the slot.
Align and place the WLAN card bracket above the WLAN card Replace the single screw to secure the WLAN card bracket and card to the system board. Align the tabs on the side cover with the slots on the chassis Slide the side cover towards the front of the computer Now, tighten the two captive screws to secure the side cover to the computer.
