Unmap several LUNs from one Initiator Group
Hello.,
I'm trying to find the way to unmap several LUNs from one Initiator Group thru CLI. I'm replicating my XtremIO volumes with one RecoverPoint cluster but now I'm going to replicate the volumes with a different RP cluster, so I need to unmap the volumes from one of the Initiator Groups. I found the following command:
unmap-lun vol-id="LUN_01" ig-id="RecoverPoint01"
it works fine, the only thing is that I need to run one by one, and it's a real pain. Since I need to remove several, I'm looking the way to create a file or someting that helps me to put in it a bunch of LUNs then run a command that do it all for me, like in VMAX or something like that.
I found this command:
unmap-lun group 1:['all', 'ig-id'] but I don't know how to use it.
Any help will be greatly appreciate it.

The easiest and most likely quickest way to do this is in the GUI. From the configuration menu, click on the initiator group you wish to unmap volumes from and then click "create/modify mapping." The volumes already presented to the host will be checked so click next. From there you will see the volumes and their corresponding host LUN ID. Click each ID you want to unmap and erase the LUN ID value and then click finish. Those volumes will now unmap.
As a precaution, always verify the Host LUN ID with what is seen on the host and take any steps needed to unmount those volumes on the host as needed.
Hope that helps!

Thanks a lot for your recommendation, I did the way that you described and worked fine.
