I have a question about X2-T and XMS.

Hi, I'm new employee.

As I know, XMS is required to control cluster.

And, X2-T is just Single block.

Thus, I think X2-T doesn't need XMS.....

Is it wrong..?

sorry for disturbing you..

Thank you.

Hi Kohs4,

You will still need an XMS to manage the cluster whether it is a X2-T or X2-S etc. They all need an XMS.

Hello Pum,

We do not offer a template to deploy a virtual XMS in Hyper-V. We currently only provide a template (OVA) for deployment within VMware. It may be possible with other tools to convert the template from OVA to an acceptable format for Hyper-V. This would not fall under support though on how to accomplish this as it is not a directly tested and approved method.

If this is a configuration that you are interested in utilizing, I would recommend having a conversation with your account team. They can submit a request for product enhancement in order to see if such configuration can be tested and offered as a solution in the future.

Best Regards
