XPS 15 9550, Charging Issue (Battery icon flashing when plug in)

I am using Windows 10, and every single time when I plug in the charger to my xps 15, the battery icon start showing it is plug-in and charging, but after like 3 seconds, it shows disconnected. And then it goes back to the plug-in status. It repeats this process for a min before back to normal.

I wonder what kind of problem I am having on my xps.

Thanks

If the AC adapter says it's type and the Battery says Excellent in the BIOS:

I suggest you remove the battery from within the system by following steps below.

1. Power off system. Remove AC adapter and battery.

2. Press " Power On" button for about 15 seconds to release Static Flea Power.

3. Replace battery, adapter, power on system. Hopefully battery start charging again and no more blinking white light.

Note: Before attempting to remove computer cover and battery, please read service manual thoroughly in link below

Please check the status of AC adapter and battery in the BIOS by following steps in link below.

1. Power off system. Remove all peripherals (except AC adapter)

2. Power on system, quickly start tapping F2 key continuously until you see the BIOS setup.

In the BIOS, select Battery Information. The AC adapter should say it's type, if it says None or Unknown then it's an issue with the adapter, and most likely need to replace with a new one.

Note: Please wiggle adapter's end (charging port) while checking it in the BIOS

The battery should say Excellent, any other message most likely needs to be replace.

Power and battery-status light Indicates the power state and battery state of the computer. What color is the flashing light?

Solid white — Power adapter is connected and the battery is charging.

Solid amber — Battery charge is low or critical.

Hi, I think it is solid white when the power adapter is connected, so I guess it seems normal to me. However, the situation is getting worse when the battery is running low. The battery icon is going back and forward between plug-in and not plug-in. I have uploaded two video about the situations when the power adapter is connected. One is for the Power and battery-status light and one is for the icon on Windows 10.
