XPS 13 9370 SSD upgrade
Hi. I wonder if I can use Crucial P3 1000GB M.2 2280 PCI Express 3.0 (NVMe) in my laptop. And related question. My laptop has only USB-C ports. When I install Windows, will I be able to boot using a USB-A stick via a USB hub? If not, how do I install Windows?

Any standard M.2 2280 NVMe drive that physically fits will work.
You can use a USB-A to C cable, or a hub -- either will allow the system to boot from a standard flash drive. There are also flash drives with both USB-C and -A connectors on them.

@ejn63, how do I know if an SSD will physically fit? Is the only way to open the laptop and measure, or is it usually indicated in SSD specs?

Most M.2 2280 drives will fit -- the exception being ones with a built in heatsink -- these are designed for desktop systems and won't fit the notebook you have.

@ejn63 Hey! Just saying thank you, your solution for RAM/MEM failure for xps15 from 3 years ago just saved my bacon. I appreciate you!
